Rateory is a currency-reference workspace built to make exchange-rate information easier to interpret before you spend, transfer or exchange money. It combines a converter, historical reference trends, saved pairs and optional rate alerts without requiring a website account.

What Rateory is

The service is intended for estimates, comparisons and general information. It gives you a neutral reference point that you can compare with the final quote from a bank, card issuer, exchange office or money-transfer provider.

What Rateory is not

Rateory is not a bank, broker, exchange, money-transfer provider or trading platform. It does not execute conversions and does not promise that a displayed reference rate is available for a real transaction.

Why the site includes explanatory content

A conversion result on its own can be misleading. A provider can add a spread, fixed fee, card charge or payout cost. Some currencies also have different conditions across official, banking, remittance and cash markets. Rateory therefore pairs the calculator with methodology notes and pair-specific cautions where they are useful.
