Effective output is calculated as final target currency received divided by the source amount plus any fee paid separately. If a fee has already been deducted before the displayed recipient amount, do not enter it again.

Why final amounts matter

Providers can structure prices differently. One quote can have a visible fee and a stronger exchange rate, while another can show a smaller fee but deliver less target currency. Comparing only one line of the quote can therefore be misleading.

The final recipient amount captures the combined effect of the quoted rate and costs deducted from the transfer. Enter a separate sender fee only when it is charged on top of the transfer amount.

Keep the scenarios identical

Use the same source amount, target currency, delivery speed and payout method for both quotes. A cash pickup and a bank deposit can be priced differently even by the same service.

For recurring transfers, compare normal pricing separately from a one-time promotional offer.

How the effective output is calculated

Rateory divides the final target amount by the source amount plus any sender fee paid separately. This produces a consistent output-per-cost measure for the exact inputs you entered.

It is a comparison metric, not a recommendation. Transfer speed, limits, payout availability and service terms can still differ.
